Paramore adalah grup band rock dari Amerika. Awalnya, grup band ini terdiri dari Hayley Nichole Williams di vokal dan keyboard, Josh Farro pada gitar dan vokal, Jeremy Davis pada bas, Zac Farro di drum serta Taylor York (rhythm guitar). Namun band tersebut pecah sehingga hanya menyisakan tiga personil yaitu vokalis Hayley Williams, Bassist Jeremy Davis, dan gitaris Taylor York.

Paramore dibentuk pada tahun 2004 di Franklin, Tennessee, Amerika Serikat oleh vokalis Hayley Williams, lead-guitarist Josh Farro, drummer Zac Farro, rhythm-guitarist Taylor York dan bassist Jason Clarke. Namun pada saat mereka akan masuk ke dunia major label, pihak label kurang setuju dengan keberadaan Taylor York dan Jason Clarke.

Kemudian Hayley membawa bassist Jeremy Davis dan rhythm-guitarist Jason Bynum untuk menggantikan mereka, dan pihak label pun setuju. Paramore lalu menandatangani kontrak dengan Fueled by Ramen. Nama Paramore sendiri dikabarkan diambil dari nama ibu dari bassist pertama mereka.

Sejak terbentuk, mereka telah mengeluarkan 3 studio-album (ALL WE KNOW IS FALLING, RIOT!, dan BRAND NEW EYES) dan 1 EP (THE SUMMER TIC EP) serta sebuah live-album (THE FINAL RIOT!).

ALL WE KNOW IS FALLING dirilis sejak tahun 2005 lalu. Sedangkan di tahun 2007, Paramore meluncurkan album kedua mereka, RIOT!. Pada album kedua ini, Paramore mendapatkan platinum di negara mereka sendiri dan Gold Platinum di Inggris dan Irlandia.

Gaung Paramore mulai mencapai Asia, saat mereka meluncurkan single Decode yang menjadi soundtrack film TWILIGHT. Pada 25 November 2008, Paramore meluncurkan album THE FINAL RIOT! yang berisi album RIOT! dan bonus DVD konser mereka di Chicago.

Paramore akan menjadi tamu spesial pada konser musim panas No Doubt di tahun 2009 ini. Selain itu mereka juga dipercaya menyumbangkan lagunya untuk dijadikan OST. TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON. Dalam film ini mereka menyanyikan lagu berjudul Monster yang singlenya resmi dirilis pada 7 Juni 2011. Single ini tergabung dalam album OST TRANSFORMERS .

Video klip single Monster resmi dirilis pada bulan Juli 2011. Pasca rilis single tersebut, Paramore telah merencakan akan menggelar konser di beberapa negara, termasuk Indonesia.
